Undercoat

Undercoat is the layer applied before painting a surface and is always considered a second step to painting any base before applying paint. It helps provide better coverage and hiding power than just applying extra topcoats. It creates a flat and a level base and is often referred to as the primer coat. It allows for achieving an unrivaled depth of colour.
